About
Grove Play started as a shared notes doc between three friends who kept texting each other tips for the games we were stuck on. At some point we figured other people probably had the same questions, so we turned the mess into a proper site.
We cover mobile games of all kinds, and we care most about the stuff you can't tell from a store screenshot: how the controls feel after an hour, whether the difficulty curve is fair, and if a game respects your time.,Every game we write about, someone on the team has installed and played long enough to have an opinion worth reading. We don't rewrite official descriptions and we don't rank things we've never touched.,How do we pick games? Usually it's a mix of what's climbing the charts, what readers ask about, and what one of us got hooked on over the weekend. If a game is popular but shallow, we'll say so. If it's a hidden gem, even better.
